More informationThe ITALY LDET 2026 will take place in Rome, at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club just 9 KM from our properties, on April 10th and 11th. The ITALY LDET 2026 is an official stage of the Long Drivers European Tour (LDET), a European circuit dedicated exclusively to the "Long Drive" discipline, where the only goal is to hit the ball as far as possible.

Founded in 2013, the Long Drivers European Tour (LDET) is the leading circuit in the Old Continent for this specialty. Unlike traditional golf, the number of strokes per hole does not count here, but pure distance: the best "hitters" compete in various European stages with the sole objective of hitting the ball as far as possible within a specific grid. Here technique merges with brute force, offering the audience an atmosphere charged with energy and adrenaline.
With its 150 hectares of countryside just 17 km from the center of Rome and its 27 spectacular holes around the Marco Simone castle, the Capitoline Golf Club is the perfect theater for this challenge. After hosting the 2023 Ryder Cup, the course confirms its international vocation by welcoming the LDET champions, ready to defy the laws of physics in a historical setting dating back to the year 1000.
